The North Myrtle Beach Browns Backers are proud to support many local charities. We dedicate 1 game per month for collections.
DONATION: Dry Dog, Cat, Puppy, Kitten Food & Treats, Cat Toys,Cat Litter, Metal Dog Dishes, Double Cat Food Dishes, Litter Pans (small), Litter Scoopers, Collars & Leashes (no harnesses please), Office Supplies, Postage Stamps & Paper, Digital Thermometers, Frontline, Pet Shampoo, Cleaning Supplies, 2 Gal Stainless Steel Buckets, Contractors Hoses, Towels & Blankets
October – North Strand Housing Shelter. Item Donations on 10/23.
DONATION: Gift cards from places like grocery stores, Lowes, Walmart, Target, bottled water, soda, dish washing liquid, clothes washing detergent, light bulbs, sugar/cream
November – For Thanksgiving, North Strand Helping Hand Food Pantry. Item donations on 11/13.
DONATION: Peanut Butter, Jelly, Cereal, Spaghetti Sauce, Pasta, Canned Meats, Pork ‘n Beans, Soup or any canned food items.
December – For Christmas, Sea Haven children’s homeless shelter. Item donations on 12/18.
DONATION: Household items: toilet tissue, paper towels, cleaning supplies, Office supplies: copy paper, fax cartridges, file folders, labels, computer ink cartridges, etc. Throw rugs for floors – small and medium size, Wash cloths, bath towels, dish towels, sponges, Shower curtains, liners, Groceries – especially meats – chicken, hamburger, pork, etc. Also Items for Youth: Undergarments – socks, underwear, tank tops, t-shirts, Personal toiletries – deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, first aid kits, lotion, cotton swabs, soaps, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, School supplies, Games, puzzles, books (new or used, as long as all pieces are there) for the recreation center, Pajamas/gowns, Donating discounted or free passes for area activities.
Nearly 20 times a year we also have a “Beach Sweep”. In 2009 we adopted the beach access on 9th Ave South in North Myrtle Beach. The sweeps take about an hour and everything you need (trash grabbers, gloves, waste bags, etc) is all provided. Find out when the next sweep takes place here.
